Library & Resources

The Mint Museum Library consists of more than 21,000 volumes housed in the J.A. Jones Reference Library and the Delhom-Gambrell Reference Library, both at Mint Museum Randolph. Exhibition support material can also be found at Mint Museum Uptown in its four resource areas on the gallery levels.

The Mint Library supports the museum’s pottery collection with an extensive selection of books, reference titles, and exhibition catalogs on NORTH CAROLINA potters and potteries, as well as files on artists, journal articles, archival images, and documents.

Use MARCO, the online catalog, to search for resources in the library that are available for reference. For information on the museum’s exhibitions of North Carolina pottery, see Mintwiki, the library’s online exhibition resource. Links to several Mintwiki pages are provided below. Additionally, full-text downloadable copies of out-of-print catalogues from older NC pottery exhibitions are accessible.
